Gaited Horse Training

I take in horses for training, usually to fine tune and develop a gaited horse’s natural gait. I work on relaxation first, then developing a smooth slow gait, then I ride on the road and really strengthen those gaiting muscles as I ride for a couple of miles.

Most horses come for 4-6 weeks and are gaiting really well by the end of that time. Owners are encouraged to stay for a lesson or two when they pick up their gaited horses.

Since I travel a lot, I now charge on a per ride basis.  You pay a base rate of $50/week for pasture board and $75/ride.  I keep track of the rides and let you know the progress.  🙂
